The internet has revolutionized the way in which property is marketed but, in spite of the undoubted advantages, many of the changes have been at the expense of the privacy and security of the vendor. For example, it is now frighteningly easy to obtain, not only floor plans of a house but also virtual tours - video displays showing the interior layout of your home, complete with a video inventory of your antiques, paintings and other valuables. It is not even uncommon to see details of a property's security system.
At the Bureau, we believe that the only people who need to see the inside of your home – or even to know its price – are people who are likely to be genuinely interested in buying it and, equally importantly, are in a position to buy. Furthermore, if you wish, we will not disclose your identity to potential purchasers unless or until it is necessary to do so.
While this may, perhaps, seem unnecessarily cautious or secretive, it is precisely because we are able to offer such a high degree of confidentiality that the Bureau is asked to sell – and is therefore able to offer our registered purchasers – some of the most outstanding properties across the North West and North Wales.
